ENTREPRENEUR SERVICES

 

After being selected, Endeavor Entrepreneurs are immediately connected to peer entrepreneurs and a global network of business leaders who act as mentors and advisers. Endeavor Entrepreneurs also receive a world-wide seal of approval for investors. The below diagram outlines the customised services the Endeavor Entrepreneurs will receive from Endeavor.

Business Basics

Leadership Breakfasts and Seminars: Each month a board member or senior executive hosts a breakfast where the Endeavor Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to learn from and interact with successful businessman. Examples of past breakfast/seminar hosts are Adrian Gore, Paul Harris, Clem Sunter and Isaac Shongwe.

Business Workshops: Each month, Endeavor Entrepreneurs and their key staff can attend a business workshop on topics such as strategy, corporate governance, organizational development and performance management.

External Consulting

eMBA: Each year Endeavor recruits top MBA students from leading US business schools to spend 10 weeks over June-August working on-site with the Endeavor Entrepreneurs. The eMBA projects include refining business plans, analyzing company growth options, and conducting market/feasibility studies. 

Each year Endeavor recruits top MBA students from leading US business schools to spend 10 weeks over June-August working on-site with the Endeavor Entrepreneurs. The eMBA projects include refining business plans, analyzing company growth options, and conducting market/feasibility studies.

G-LAB: A team of four MIT students work remotely and on-site with the Endeavor Entrepreneurs to solve a specific problem relating to their business. 

Wits Business School Internships: As part of their degree, Wits MBA students complete a three month consulting project with an Endeavor company.

Strategic Introductions

Strategic Advisory Meetings: Endeavor has nearly 150 rising and senior executives in our “VentureCorps” network – all of which have unique functional and industry expertise. These VentureCorps are available to advise the Endeavor Entrepreneurs on strategy, industry trends, new market opportunities, or financing options.

Advisory Boards and Mentors

Mentors: We match our entrepreneurs with business professionals in our network with relevant expertise, knowledge, or contacts to give feedback and guidance to the Endeavor Entrepreneur on an ongoing basis.

Advisory Board: An advisory board consists of four experienced business professionals that meet quarterly to advise the Endeavor Entrepreneur around the strategic challenges and opportunities that the company is facing.

Global Networks

Networking: These events provide Endeavor Entrepreneurs the opportunity to network with other Endeavor Entrepreneurs and Endeavor US-based and emerging market networks.

Introductions: Endeavor also arranges individual meetings with US-based and emerging market advisors, investors, partners and clients for Endeavor Entrepreneurs that visit Endeavor countries for an International Panel, Gala or International Immersion Tours.
