Malik Fal
Managing Director
Malik Fal was the former Business Operations Director of Microsoft SA before he took up the reigns at Endeavor in April 2009. Malik is deeply committed to High Impact Entrepreneurship and sees it as a key ingredient to the development of a vibrant middle class in South Africa and beyond. Malik is passionate about the need to reduce thewealth gap between rich and poor nations and has been involved in a variety of competitiveness initiatives in emerging markets around the world, has led a number of successful consulting engagements with the World Bank, the tourism industry in Bermuda and even the Rwandan Presidency.
Malik’s role at Microsoft was Business Marketing & Operations (BMO) Group lead for West-East-Central Africa. Malik was responsible for the formulation and execution of Microsoft’s strategy in Africa’s vast geography. Before Microsoft Malik was with the OTF Group consultancy as Vice President, Africa region(previously part of the Monitor Group). He also spent si six years at PepsiCo. Malik developed a passion for understanding the “essence of development” through exposure to a number of different models. He is particularly experienced in business strategy for firms in developing countries, and the practical roles government, private sector institutions, and individuals must play to find focused and sustainable solutions in the development process.
Prior to PepsiCo, Malik studied at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government where he received a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA-2).

Fiona Pieterse
Office Manager
Fiona has in excess of ten years professional work experience with various corporations. Fiona has broad general expertise in project management, human resources, organizational and executive secretarial skills. She has worked in the sphere of technology, liquidations and communications. She is a native of South Africa and has two sons.

Nontokozo Hlangweni
Junior Marketing Administrator
Nontokozo Hlangweni is a unique young lady who is passionate about people who dream or rather think beyond their social context, peolpe who are thought leaders and take responsilbilty in transforming their surroundings. She is a BA Marketing Communications graduate from the University of Johanmesburg. She has worked previously for two call centre companies where she learnt how to deal with customers and build good relationships with them. Thereafter she worked for Collage campus where she gathered more experience in customer service, marketing and the general management of the office. She is very excited about the new venture as she will learn and contribute towards her community.

Tumi Sefolo
Search and Selection Manager
Tumi was born and raised in Soweto before being awarded a full scholarship at St. Andrew’s School for Girls where she excelled in academics, sports, music and drama. At 25yrs Tumi became CEO of Focus Kamoso a consulting company offering Recruitment Services, where she was responsible for the overall general management of Focus Kamoso including marketing, business development, operations, finance, people management and key account management. She is well respected for her strong client service orientation, impeccable work ethic and her outstanding business acumen. In 2006, Tumi was selected by Unilever to become a role model and mentor for young South African women as part of their “Ponds Passport to Success” campaign. Tumi has a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from UNISA and is currently registered for an MBA with the Gordon Institute of Business Science on a part-time basis. In her own words, “I am delighted to be joining Endeavor South Africa and to have an opportunity to play a role in the transformation of my country”

Rezaan Daniels
Search and Selection Analyst
Rezaan Daniels has joined Endeavor South Africa for 2 month as an intern assisting Sean Walker on the Entrepreneurial Service portfolio. Rezaan grew up in South Africa, attended high school in Paris and University at Hamilton College in Upstate New York. He has previously worked for Enterprise Uganda a UNDP initiative to encourage the development of SMe’s. The different perspectives he has gained from living abroad has sparked his interest in entrepreneurship and the global, social, and economic impact that entrepreneurs have on society.

Affiong Williams
Entrepreneur Services
Affiong joined Endeavor South Africa in March, 2008 as part of the Search and Selection Team. A recent graduate from the Wits Business School, Affiong completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management last year, during which she interned at an HR consulting firm. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Physiology and Psychology from Wits University. Affiong has a keen interest in different cultures and has participated in both a French and Spanish cultural exchange programmes. She also interested in travelling, Latin languages, African history and politics.

Megan de Villiers
Marketing and Communications Manager
Megan joined Endeavor South Africa in February, 2009 to help increase Endeavor's outreach and awareness in South Africa. Prior to Endeavor, Megan was the International Project Manager at the Homecoming Revolution, a NGO that focuses it's efforts on encouraging and assisting skilled South Africans to return home in order to grow and build the country. Megan graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Africa and most recently attended the Gordon Institute of Business' Nexus Leadership Programme. Megan has a keen interest in addressing areas relating to sustainable development in South Africa and feels that South Africa has the potential to be an unbelievable success story, providing we support fanstastic intitiatives like Endeavor and the enterprises they nurture.

Sean Walker
Junior Portfolio Manager
Sean joined Endeavor as a Junior Portfolio Manager to work in Entrepreneur Services. Prior to joining Endeavor South Africa, Sean worked at Endeavor Global, completing a metrics analysis for Endeavor’s 2008 Impact Report. Before his work at Endeavor Global, Sean spent two years as an M&A investment banker at Citi in New York. Sean has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, concentrating in finance, from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Abigail Flora
Portfolio Manager
Abigail joined Endeavor South Africa in January 2010 as a Portfolio Manager in Entrepreneur Services. Prior to joining Endeavor South Africa, Abigail spent three years as a Management Consultant at A.T. Kearney Inc. in Chicago. She has consulted for many large international corporations, specializing in marketing strategy, retail operations, and procurement work in the apparel retail and consumer packaged goods industries. Prior to A.T. Kearney she interned at Whirlpool Corporation in the Human Resources department and Proctor & Gamble in the Consumer Market Knowledge group. Abigail has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business with concentration in Marketing and Corporate Strategy. Prior to University she studied at the International School in Varese Italy for four years and attended Culver Military Academy for three summers. Having solved business problems of all shapes and sizes for large corporations, Abigail is eager to face new business challenges while working with Endeavor Entrepreneurs in South Africa.
