Endeavor Entrepreneurs interviewed by the BBC
Endeavor Entrepreneurs, Luvuyo and Lonwabo Rani from SiluloIlutho Technologies, were interviewed by the BBC where they were showcased as an inspiring, local company making a difference in the Township.
Silulo offers IT training services in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, with an unemployed population of a staggering 1.6 million people. The Rani brothers are remarkable entrepreneurs, doing great work to up skill people, making them more employable. These courageous entrepreneurs are defying the odds by successfully operating in a market where large corporates have been hesitant to penetrate, deeming it unprofitable due to the low income and high unemployment.
Since Silulo’s success, more companies have shown increased interest in this market, including MWEB, who have partnered with Silulo to open a series of public internet cafes and IT training centres.
